Calling all knitters and crocheters.....don't forget that our new 'Knit Happens' group starts next Tuesday (8th September) 2-3.30pm at our Lostock Hall Activity Centre, Lourdes Avenue, Lostock Hall.

This group is free to attend and refreshments will be provided.

Get your knitting needles and crochet hooks out and help us to make 500 hats for Terrys' Chocolate oranges in time for Christmas.

We'll provide the patterns too!

After next Tuesday the group will take place every Tuesday and Wednesday 2.30-4pm.

Whether you are a beginner or an expert we cannot wait to welcome you!

After lots of fantastic suggestions and a great response from our Facebook community, the votes are in and we can officially announce that our brand-new knitting and crochet group will be called...

🎉 'KNIT HAPPENS! '🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who suggested and voted for a name. We think it's the perfect fit for a friendly group that's all about creativity, laughter, friendship... and a little bit of yarn-based chaos! The winning name was chosen from a list of suggestions put forward for the group.

🍊 What will we be doing? We'll be knitting and crocheting hats for Terry's Chocolate Oranges as part of our festive fundraising activities. Whether you're an experienced crafter or can barely tell a knitting needle from a crochet hook, everyone is welcome!

Looking for a fun way to stay active, meet new people and have a laugh? Why not give table tennis a go!

Regenerage is delighted to launch ‘Ping in the Community’, a brand-new monthly table tennis session for people aged 55+, with support from South Ribble Leisure and Table Tennis England

⭐ FREE TASTER SESSION 📅 Friday 4th September 🕜 1.30pm - 3.00pm 📍 Leyland Leisure Centre

Whether you're an experienced player, haven't picked up a bat in years, or have never played before, everyone is welcome. The session is designed to be friendly, inclusive and dementia-friendly, with plenty of opportunities to socialise, have fun and enjoy some gentle exercise.

Table tennis is a fantastic way to improve coordination, boost wellbeing, keep active and make new friends and most importantly, it's great fun!

Following the free taster session, Ping in the Community will take place on the first Friday of every month, giving you a regular opportunity to get together and enjoy the game. Cost is £3.50 which includes free refreshments.

A huge thank you to our wonderful charity patron, Rotherham Taylor Chartered Accountants for organising their fantastic Charity Quiz Night in support of Regenerage! 🎉👏

Now it's over to you! Gather your friends, family, work colleagues or neighbours and put together a team of up to four people for what promises to be a fun-filled evening of brain teasers, laughter and friendly competition, all whilst helping support older people across Lancashire. ❤️

A huge thank you to Places For People!

Yesterday we welcomed eight members of staff from Places For People to our Middlebrook charity superstore where they got stuck in helping us to process donations.

It was great to share some of the history of Regenerage and the difference our work makes for older people across Lancashire and further a field whilst everyone enjoyed a fantastic day volunteering together.

A big thank you to everyone involved. We’re excited about what this partnership will bring to our local communities in the future.

What a wonderful day of fun, laughter and friendship at our Withy Trees Activity Centre! 🌟

We were delighted to welcome children from a local childminder group for a fantastic intergenerational visit. Together, we enjoyed a teamwork sports day, colourful parachute games and some creative jewellery making. The room was filled with smiles, laughter and plenty of new friendships!

💜 Seeing different generations come together is truly special. These visits create lasting memories, help build confidence, encourage social connections and remind us that fun has no age limit!

A huge thank you to the children, childminders and everyone involved for making the day so memorable. We can't wait for the next visit! 😊

From Monday 7th September, join us every week from 10.30am to 12.30pm at our Middlebrook Charity Superstore, Horwich, for a friendly, welcoming and supportive session designed for people living with dementia, memory concerns, and their carers.

💜 Whether you're looking for companionship, meaningful activities, or simply a chance to enjoy a cuppa and a chat, our Well-Being Club offers a relaxed and inclusive environment where everyone is welcome.
