🪴PLANTING AFTERNOON!

Join us tomorrow (Monday 15th June) from 2pm along Leysdown Promenade for a planting afternoon! We will be filling up the planters, ready for the summer.

All volunteers are welcome and all equipment is provided 🌸🌷🌼🪻🌺

Join Isle of Sheppey Salvation Army and Leysdown Village Hall on Sunday 28th June for a lovely afternoon on The Spinney ☀️

On Sunday 28th of June, on Leysdown Spinney, we will be hosting a Community Summer Fun afternoon, alongside the wonderful team from Leysdown Village Hall.

From 2:00pm there will be crafts, pre-loved stalls and a tea tent.

Then at 4:00pm Sittingbourne Salvation Army - Church & Community Centre band will be accompanying us for a 'School Assembley Bangers' singalong' on the Bandstand.

You are more than welcome to come along and join in the fun. Bring a deck chair and a picnic and come along for a nice afternoon of Community togetherness. 🌞

Huge thanks to our amazing volunteers who collected 9.82kg in one hour of litter picking this morning! The sun even came out ⛅️

The litter pick was part of the Festival of Sheppey .

Well done everyone - your efforts are very much appreciated 🙌

Thanks to Sheppey Pulse Network Charity for sharing this information. The Parish Council have had no official letter or email from Southern Water, so we do apologise for not being able to share details about this sooner.

We are contacting Southern Water directly too.

In the meantime, whilst the details available are minimal, there is a drop in session at the Eastern Sheppey Community Hub this afternoon between 4pm and 7pm.

We also understand that there is another drop in session tomorrow (Thursday 4th) between 4pm and 7pm at Eastchurch Village Hall, which you are also able to attend.

We will share more information as we receive it.
