We want to express our thanks to Fradley and Alrewas Charities' for their very generous contribution towards our community defibrillators, the Parish Council has now taken responsibility for the units and their ongoing maintenance.
All of the defibrillators have now been replaced with brand-new units. The existing cabinets are fundamentally still in good condition, so rather than the unnecessary of replacing them, one of our councillors has very kindly given them a new lease of life. He is cleaning and repainting the cabinets and replacing the decals so they will look smart and refreshed as the new defibrillators are installed.
This amazing local charity has also offered the opportunity to learn how to use the defibrillators and life saving skills that could potentially Save a Life, the charity ask a small donation if you are able. It is with the help of Burton on Trent Community First Responders that this is available.
The sessions start from 2pm on Saturday 10th October. Please contact Alrewas and Fradley Charities to join, details are at the base of the poster.
It really is wonderful to see the two organisations working together to provide something so important for our community.
Thank you.
