The dust has settled. We lost, by the barest of margins.
I am extremely proud of how well we contested this ward and the positive campaign that we ran.
Thank you to everyone who helped deliver leaflets, provided advice and insight, put up a poster, offered an encouraging word or simply voted.

Since 2016 and under the Tories watch over 1 million miles of bus journeys have been lost in Lincolnshire alone.

That means hundreds of people across our county have been cut off in small villages and towns with no alternative form of transportation.

For too long areas like Scampton have been ignored and uncared for. A vote for a new Labour run council on 4th May will be a vote for investment.

From potholes to buses to the future of RAF Scampton Labour has a plan to regenerate our area and give it the attention it deserves.

But the Tories issued a staunch defence of their own spending on fixing roads - then refused to provide the evidence

Despite costing the tax payer £40 million+; preventing the private investment of £300 million+ into the site; and being a completely unsustainable project the Tories are pushing ahead with the project regardless.

Alternatively Labour will support the original plan for investment in the site whilst nationally we will tackle the backlog of asylum seeker applications built up after a decade of Tory misrule.
