We are excited to announce a special exhibition which will celebrate the Local Landscapes & Hidden Histories Project, that has brought people together from across the city to explore and celebrate the heritage of Lincoln’s green spaces.
The exhibition at The Grandstand on Saxilby Road, which has been put together by LUMO Workshop, will showcase archive material, heritage insights and creative responses developed throughout the project, highlighting the stories, landscapes and communities that make our parks and open spaces so special.
Alongside the exhibition, visitors can take part in creative workshops, guided heritage walks, short talks, and the launch of a new book by the Survey of Lincoln, exploring the history of Lincoln’s parks and green spaces.
Whether you have been involved in the project, attended an event or are simply curious to learn more, Shared Ground is an opportunity to discover local heritage, celebrate community achievements and explore the connections between people, place, and nature.
