Ahead of England's friendly against Costa Rica tonight, take a look at the new campaign in Lincolnshire to highlight the help available to those experiencing domestic abuse.
Evidence shows that domestic abuse incidents can increase during major international football tournaments.
If you feel scared, controlled, isolated, threatened or intimidated in your relationship, this is abuse.
As the World Cup approaches, we are launching a new campaign to highlight the vital help available for those experiencing domestic abuse, and to encourage those using harmful behaviours to seek help to change.
Evidence shows that domestic abuse incidents can increase during major international football tournaments, and we know it can be a time when people might feel more on edge. This campaign aims to help reach those people.
10,000 coasters will be distributed across Lincolnshire pubs, clubs and venues which will signpost to both the Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Specialist Service (LDASS) and to Respect, the national charity supporting people who want to change harmful patterns in their relationships.
If you feel scared, controlled, isolated, threatened or intimidated in your relationship, this is abuse.
