Our 'Knitters and Natterers' will be taking a well deserved break over the summer holiday. A big thank you to all the volunteers for their help over the past year and to all the members for making it such a wonderful success.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped complete our latest library jigsaw. It’s always lovely seeing people stop by to add a few pieces.

Our next puzzle is now out and ready to go, aptly named I Love Summer! Pop in whenever you’re passing and help us bring it to life.

Don’t forget our jigsaw swap shelf. If you’ve finished a puzzle at home, feel free to bring it in and pick up a new one.

The Summer Reading Challenge 2026 is almost here! The challenge invites children to embark on an exciting reading journey, either through their local library or online. This year’s theme, Read to the Beat!, celebrates the joy of music and the power it has to move, inspire and connect us – all through the magic of reading.

Looking for something fun, social, and a little bit brain‑stretching? Come along to our Chess & Board Games morning. Kids, adults, beginners, seasoned players, everyone’s welcome.

There will be a mix of family board games, strategy favourites and the classic chess. Drop in for a match, learn something new or just enjoy a calm morning with good company.
