We are proud to have a diverse and thriving LGBTQ+ community here in Lincoln. Pride Month is not only a time to celebrate LGBTQ+ people and communities, but also an opportunity to challenge prejudice, discrimination, and negative attitudes towards marginalised groups.

The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Lincoln, Cllr Claire Smalley, has chosen Lincoln Pride as one of her nominated charities for the year, reflecting a shared commitment to equality and inclusion.

We’re also proud to support Lincoln Pride UK at Orchard Street on Saturday 15 August and look forward to joining the celebrations 🏳️‍🌈

Renting in Lincoln is changing this month.

The Renters’ Rights Act comes into force today, on 1 May 2026, bringing major updates for both landlords and tenants.

🏠 What it means:
☑️ More security for renters
☑️ Clearer responsibilities for landlords
☑️ Changes to eviction rules, including the end of Section 21
