Lindfield Parish Council is reviewing the services we provide and planning our priorities for the coming years. We want to understand how residents feel about village life, what is working well, and where improvements could be made.

We genuinely want to hear from you, your thoughts and experiences shape everything we do. This survey takes just 5–10 minutes, and every response makes a difference.

🌿 Community in Action at The Wilderness Field
On Monday and Tuesday evening, members of 1st Lindfield Scout Group joined forces with the Friends of Eastern Road Nature Reserve and Lindfield Parish Council for a fantastic hands-on session supporting our local environment.
Together, they:
🌼 Planted around 100 wildflower plugs to boost biodiversity across the site
🐞 Explored the field, spotting wildlife and keeping an eye out for insects
🌳 Potted up oak saplings, helping to nurture future trees for planting in other areas
It’s great to be working in partnership with local groups to care for and enhance our natural spaces. A huge thank you to everyone involved for their hard work and enthusiasm!

🚨High Street Works Update – Post and Rail Replacement🚨

Please be aware that temporary two-way traffic signals will be in place on the High Street from 29 June to 3 July.

These signals are required to allow for essential fencing works, including the replacement of post and rail fencing along the roadside beside the pond.

You can find more details about the planned works here: https://one.network/

We will continue to provide updates as we receive them.
Thank you for your patience.

One platform to plan, monitor, communicate and analyse traffic disruptions.

🎉Thank you to everyone who attended the Village Road Show and Awards Celebration. It was a fantastic event and a real pleasure to see so many members of the community come together. We were especially pleased to welcome many local community groups who hosted displays and shared the great work they do, thank you for being part of the evening.
📣A special thank you to our guest speakers from the Lindfield Society, the Lindfield Bonfire Society and PCSO Gon for sharing their insights and helping make the evening so memorable.
We were also honoured to have the Deputy Lord Lieutenant, John Barclay, join us, making the evening extra special by presenting not one, but two awards.
🏆 The very first Lindfield Parish Council Community Award was proudly awarded to the Friends of Eastern Road Nature Reserve. This dedicated and welcoming volunteer group works tirelessly to protect and enhance the biodiversity of the Nature Reserve. The award was collected by members of the group.
👏 A special recognition award was also presented to 6-year-old George for his inspiring litter-picking efforts within the local community. What a fantastic example to us all!
Thank you again to everyone who played a part in making the evening such a success!
