Thank you to everyone who took part in the recent Recreation Ground Masterplan Consultation Survey.
We received 257 responses across the three survey formats, and we are now analysing the feedback and preparing a report for Council.

One of the key themes raised by respondents was concern about anti‑social behaviour. We are therefore pleased to confirm that CCTV cameras have already been installed around the Recreation Ground, complementing the existing cameras in the Little Rec. These have proven to be an effective deterrent and form part of our ongoing efforts to improve safety and reassurance for users of the space.

The Lyndons play area is officially open!

A brand‑new play zone for younger children, offering a mix of active, creative and social play for local families.

Refurbishment was funded through developer contributions secured by East Hampshire District Council.

The newly refurbished play area at Admers Crescent, Gunns Farm is now open!

With four distinct play zones, there’s something for children of all ages to enjoy — from imaginative play to climbing, balancing and social spaces.

This project was made possible thanks to external funding secured by East Hampshire District Council through developer contributions.

🚸LIPHOOK COMMUNITY SPEEDWATCH IS RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS

Join our team
Do you want to make a difference in your community by helping to reduce Speeding?
Can you spare just a few hours a month?

Community Speed Watch is an educational scheme that enables members of the public to volunteer alongside Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary to monitor the speed of traffic passing through their area and identify vehicles which exceed the speed limit. Each scheme is run by the volunteers and supported by their local Neighbourhood Policing Team.

If you are interested, aged 18 or above and would like further information on joining or setting up a local scheme, please email Citizens in Policing at [email protected] or apply using the QR code.

July 2026 Auto Speed Watch Data

Liphook belongs to the Auto Speed Watch (ASW) Scheme.

Auto Speed Watch is an automated roadside camera system used by parishes and communities to record speeding vehicles, target repeat offenders, and supply intelligence data to the police. It acts as an unattended alternative to traditional volunteer Community Speed Watch groups. More information about how it works can be found on our website www.bramshottandliphook-pc.gov.uk

Where Our Cameras Are Located
Six ASW cameras monitor traffic entering Liphook along key routes:
• Haslemere Road
• Headley Road
• London Road
• Longmoor Road
• Portsmouth Road
• Midhurst Road (currently off line)
All cameras are set to trigger at 40mph or above.

Why We Publish This Data
We share anonymised monthly data to:
• raise awareness of speeding issues in the village
• encourage safer driving behaviour
• support Hampshire Police in identifying speeding hotspots
• highlight vehicles flagged for no MoT, no tax, or SORN violations

Although ASW does not issue fines, the intelligence is passed to the police traffic team to help them target enforcement where it is most needed.

Bramshott & Liphook Parish Council is asking residents to share their views on the future of leisure facilities and how the recreation ground should be used in the years ahead.
We want to make sure our parks, play areas, sports spaces, and community facilities meet the needs of all ages — now and in the future. No decisions have been made. Your feedback will help shape the options the Council considers.

We will be hosting two drop-in events where we can give you more information and answer any questions about our consultation on the future of Radford Pond and Waterways.

The drop-in events will be held at the Liphook Millennium Centre on the following dates/times:

Radford Pond & Waterways Consultation

If you haven't completed the survey yet and would like more information before you do, we are hosting two information walks at Radford Park this week.

Tuesday 28th July (TODAY) at 6.30pm
Wednesday 29th July at 11am

The meeting point for both walks is the car park off Malthouse Meadows. Please just turn up at the allotted time if you would like to join us.

We will also be holding a public display/meeting on Friday 7th August/Saturday 8th August, more details to follow.
