Thank you to those residents who have already taken the time to complete the consultation survey. It is important to the Council that we hear from as many residents as possible.

The consultation closes on 31st July, so there is still time to have your say.

The links to the survey are in the original post below. There is a general version of the survey and one for younger residents, as it is really important for us to hear their voices too.

Have your say on vital placemaking plan

The South Downs National Park Authority has published the South Downs Local Plan (Proposed Submission) for Regulation 19 (Publication) consultation.

This is the final consultation stage before the plan is submitted to the Secretary of State for independent examination by a Planning Inspector. This consultation stage differs from previous consultations on the new Local Plan, as the Planning Inspector will be interested in comments related to the Local Planโ€™s soundness and legal compliance.

Consultation period: 12 May to 23 June 2026 (closing at 23:59)

A water vole survey is taking place in Radford Park today to see if the voles released up and down stream of the park have found their way there. They have been spotted less than 500m away so we're hoping they will make their way to us soon.

The Park is looking beautiful this morning with the last of the bluebells adding a splash of colour.

Bramshott & Liphook Parish Council is reviewing the future of Radford Pond and waterways to ensure public safety, environmental sustainability and responsible use of public funds.

We recognise that Radford Park has high amenity value for many residents, is in a Conservation Area, contains ancients water meadows and is used by schools for field trips and environmental education.

The Council have been investigating options relating to the pond and waterways in Radford Park. There are two reasons for this: firstly, the sluice gate is dilapidated and requires replacement and, secondly, the pond has not been dredged for many years and there is now a large build-up of silt.

We have identified 3 options to try to resolve the current issues but we need to hear from residents and find out what you think.
