🌸 I don’t want to boast on Brenda’s behalf… but I’m going to! 🧶💕

I just had to share some of her amazing crochet work with you all. Brenda is an absolutely brilliant crocheter and puts so much love and care into everything she makes. 🥰

She makes lots of gorgeous little hats and also creates beautiful little sets for premature babies. 👶💗

Just look at some of the wonderful things she’s made — the detail and workmanship are incredible! 🧶✨

Well done, Brenda… you really are very talented! ❤️👏

🧶 A little peek at our Wednesday Crochet Group! 🧶

Just wanted to share some of the lovely things we’ve been making lately. From cosy blankets and hats to adorable little toys for children, it’s amazing what can be created with just a hook, some wool and a few simple stitches! 💕

You definitely don’t need to be an expert – beginners are very welcome, and even if you’ve never crocheted before, we’ll happily help you get started. Most of our projects begin with the humble granny square! 😊

We meet every Wednesday at 2pm and it’s completely FREE. Just bring a crochet hook and some wool, and we’ll take it from there. We’d love to see you! 💛

☕️💛 Well… that’s me officially back! 💛☕️
And what a lovely first day! 🥰 A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along to our little impromptu coffee morning. It was so lovely to see some familiar faces, have a quick catch-up, drink lots of tea ☕️😂 and generally get back into the Hub routine!

And tomorrow… it’s Wednesday! 🎉

🍛 Lunch Club — and, as requested, it’s Chinese curry! 🇨🇳🍛

🧶 Then it’s Crafty Crafting — CROCHET EDITION! 🧶❤️

Never tried crochet? Come and have a go — Brenda is a magnificent teacher! 👩‍🏫✨ Already crocheting? Bring your work along! We’ll crochet, help each other, have a natter… and probably drink far too much tea. 😂☕️

Because let’s face it… there’s always plenty of chatter, laughter and tea at the Hub! 🗣️😂☕️❤️

Back at the Hub ❤️❤️

After taking a little time away, I’m back at the Hub from tomorrow and slowly getting back into the swing of things. ❤️

As some of you will know, my lovely Dad passed away recently, so I took some much-needed time with my family and some annual leave. It’s been a difficult time, but I’m now looking forward to being back, seeing everyone and getting back to our usual Hub life. 🥰

Tomorrow is going to be a gentle one, as there are no dance classes or SEND group, and Tor is having an impromptu break with a friend to celebrate her 40th! 🎉

So I thought… why not have an impromptu coffee morning instead? ☕️🍰

If you fancy popping in for a coffee, a little cake or biscuit, a chat and a catch-up, come and see me! There’s no need to let me know— just pop in and say hello from 10.30am . ❤️

It will be lovely to see some familiar faces and ease myself back into the Hub rhythm.

Our session times are changing for August only. All sessions will now run for 30 minutes, so please arrive early and bring a bag. Fridge and freezer browsing isn’t available at the moment, but we’re still here to support you with good food and good vibes 💚

Happy Monday everyone! We've got a lovely week planned at the hub.
* Tomorrow morning we have our fab sit 2 fit and core and sculpt classes 💪, followed by a fun SEN group with board games and bingo!
* Wednesday we will have our school uniform👕 (more information on availability and sizes to be shared tomorrow) followed by lunch club and crafty crafting 🧶, with an earlier finishing time of 3pm for this week.
* Then on Friday we have the Community fridge coming along between 3pm-4pm, followed by Janice's evening bingo - 7pm strict start! Cant wait to see some of you this week 🥰

KIDS CLUB UPDATE! Unfortunately we have to pause kids club for the Summer, with it resuming in September. We are so sorry about this, as kids club is such a fabulous time of the week for the hub. We are looking forward to seeing the Children back in September, and an update about starting back will come out next month. Have an amazing summer kids!
