🚶‍♂️🏅 20km Complete – First Road Marching Milestone Achieved! 🏅🚶‍♀️

On Saturday, 9 cadets from 1908 (Bootle) Squadron and 7F Squadron RAFAC took on their first 20km Road Marching training event, led by CI Hanson, as they continue their preparations for the upcoming Bronze Road Marching qualification.

Starting from Aintree, the team marched all the way to St Helens and back, demonstrating outstanding determination, resilience and teamwork every step of the way. 💪

Road marching is no easy challenge, and every cadet should be incredibly proud of what they achieved. This was a fantastic milestone on their journey towards earning their Bronze badges and a testament to the hard work they have put into their training so far.

A huge thank you to the staff from both 1908 (Bootle) Squadron and 7F Squadron who volunteered their time and support to make the day a success. Events like this simply couldn’t happen without your dedication.

Congratulations to all involved—we can’t wait to see what the team achieves next. Bring on the Bronze badges! 🌟

SATEx 2026 LOWROPES

At our annual squadron adventure training camp, cadets took part in many activities, one of which being LOWROPES!

The cadets were split into teams, and had to work together to get from one side of the course to another, racing each others timings. The groups were also assessed on their teamwork, communication and leadership!

This was a great team building exercise and it was brilliant to see some of the cadets grow in confidence as they came out of their comfort zone!
