Episode 8 of the Foster4 podcast has landed! Join us as we sit down to chat with Chantelle, manager of The Lighthouse in Warrington, about the importance of a family setting for children in care.

Sadly, there are many children and young people living in residential homes across and who are there simply because there aren’t enough foster carers in their area.

There are also many misconceptions surrounding children and young people who find themselves living in a residential setting, but what they need most isn’t judgment — it’s patience, safety, and someone who believes in them. A stable, caring home can be the turning point that helps a child feel secure, valued, and hopeful about their future.
