LIPA Primary School We use the creative and performing arts to enhance children's experiences across the curriculum and

LIPA Primary School opened in 2014 in the centre of Liverpool, enjoying excellent purpose-built facilities. We immerse children in the creative and performing arts to enrich teaching and learning in the early development of language, reading, writing and mathematics skills. The school provides excellent education, focusing strongly on English, Mathematics, Science and the creative and performing arts using an engaging curriculum and inspiring teachers and excellent learning resources to help pupils to enjoy and succeed in learning. Our Primary School provides children with outstanding teaching across the Primary and Early Years’ curriculum so that they make excellent progress and enjoy learning. Our excellent teachers plan learning that promotes the development of your child’s skills through the creative and performing arts.

Better late than never, here are the photos from our PBL residential to the Lake District . We were looking at whether it is better to live in the countryside or the city. Lots of fun was had by everyone and the kids loved getting in the water and all enjoyed the activities

Year 1 have really enjoyed exploring the world from the eyes of a refugee. We thought about what we would bring with us if we needed to leave our home, created our own paper suitcases and even practised our packing skills. We also designed our own posters and invitations and talked about how we would welcome someone new into our community.

Year 6 went to the Cathedral yesterday to take part in a transition workshop and leavers service. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you !

Our workshops and service included an assault course, singing and working in groups to think about how we can manage that transition to high school.

We would like to say a huge well done to our year 7 mathematicians who participated in the UKMT maths challenge in April. We had 2 silver certificate winners, Michael and Iris, who placed in the top 25% in the UK. Amazing work!
