🌿 A little bit about TCAA…

TCAA — Talley Community Amenity Association has been part of Talley for over 20 years. It was set up in the early 2000s to help look after community woodland around Talley.

There’s actually quite a bit of history behind TCAA, and probably a few things that even people who have lived here for years might not know!

These days, the TCAA committee is Pippa, Mike, Samantha, Ellie and Craig.

And no, we’re not just a bunch of people who like trees! 🌳😂 We’re all enthusiastic about TCAA and enjoy working together, with the help of our wonderful volunteers, to look after and maintain the woodland.

And when the work is done, there’s always time to sit on the benches, have a chat and enjoy the sunshine. Especially when someone has brought the cakes! 🍰☀️😂

🌿 Welcome to the TCAA page!

We thought it was about time we had a place where we could share what’s happening, keep everyone up to date and hopefully bring our Talley community a little closer together.

You may have heard of TCAA, perhaps walked through some of the land we look after or seen something we’ve been involved with, without necessarily knowing much about us.

At its heart, TCAA is simply about caring for Talley, its community, its land and its natural environment, and helping to look after what makes this such a special place to live.

We’d like this page to be a place where we can share what’s going on, talk about our plans and ideas, celebrate some of the lovely things happening around us, and most importantly, hear from you too.

Whether you’ve been involved with TCAA for years, have only vaguely heard of us, or are wondering “Who are these people?” —you’re very welcome here. 💚
