TRIBUTE | Family pays tribute to much-loved Nicholas Aaron Richards (Archie), 32, following tragic road traffic collision.

The family of Aaron, affectionately known as Archie, who sadly died following a road traffic collision, have paid tribute to a much-loved son, grandson, brother and friend.

Aaron, aged 32 and from Builth Wells, died over the weekend following a collision involving his car on the A470. His beloved dog, Merlin, also sadly died in the collision.

His family described him as a kind-hearted, loving and remarkable young man who brought happiness to everyone around him.

Aaron leaves behind his devoted mother, Josie, his brother Alex, his sister Megan, Howard, his father Nick, his stepmum Tina and his brother Liam, as well as his wider family and the many friends whose lives he touched.

“Aaron was a wonderful young man who was loved by so many people. He had a warm, friendly and infectious personality, and his kindness and huge heart made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

“He lived a full and happy life during his 32 years and had achieved so much, but it felt as though he was only just getting started. He had so much to look forward to, making his loss all the more heartbreaking.

“Aaron was an extremely skilled carpenter who took great pride in his work. He was looking forward to starting a new job and had so much more to offer.

“He loved nothing more than having a pint with his friends and enjoying a game of pool. These simple moments brought him so much happiness, and he was always happiest when surrounded by the people he cared about.

“He was a devoted son, grandson and brother, as well as a much-loved friend. His beloved dog, Merlin, was a special part of his life, and it is heartbreaking that they have both been taken from us.

“There was only one Aaron. We will miss his laugh, his smile, his bear hugs and his huge personality every day. The pain of losing him is impossible to put into words, and our lives will never be the same without him.

“The outpouring of messages, love, support and shared memories since Aaron’s death has shown just how many lives he touched. We are truly grateful to everyone who has reached out, shared their memories and offered their support. It brings us comfort to know how much he was loved and that so many people will carry a piece of him in their hearts.

“We ask that our family is given the privacy and space to grieve and come to terms with this devastating loss.

“Aaron will be missed beyond measure by his family and countless friends. We will carry him with us always and love him for the rest of our lives.

“Forever loved, always in our hearts.”
