Mechanic Job Advert

We are seeking a Full Time experienced skilled Mechanic and MOT Tester (*desirable but not essential*) to join our team in maintaining and repairing vehicles.

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles - Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles - Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential problems - Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
- *Conduct MOT tests on vehicles in compliance with DVSA
- *Identify and report any vehicle defects or issues
- *Perform necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure vehicles meet MOT requirements

Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanic - Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods - Ability to handle various tools - Excellent problem solving skills - Excellent customer service skills is essential

S E JONES LTD (Pantcoch Garage) are looking for a part time Office Administrator to join the team in a permanent position.

This position will be responsible for:

• Answering the Phones

• Booking MOT and Car Services

• Generating Invoices on a motoring specialised software

• Dealing with payments - taking card payments over the phone/in person and cash

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential.

Basic computer skills is essential and training will be provided on the software.

Working hours are 9am - 5.30pm on Tuesday and Friday. Flexibility is desirable to cover other staff holidays.

Hourly rate to be discussed and wage will be paid monthly directly in to the account.
