Delighted to have been invited to take part in this evenings meeting of the Stebonheath Enterprise Centre and their campaign to take over the old Stebonheath school .
It's an important function of all politicians to engage and listen to the residents that they represent and who placed them in office .
Whilst emotions run high at these meetings, its a sign of the care and concern of residents for the protection of their community ,its history and their way of life .
For my part I will support the group in opposing the proposed development of 21 flats and I will be supporting the groups hopes and aspirations to make the school a community hub ...dealing and supporting local people in various ways.
Llanelli needs to protect its rich history and the retention of this school as a community hub will play a pivotal role in ensuring that .
