Seven years ago today the community of Milford Haven lost one of its own. Josh Gardener was a kind and generous soul, always willing to help others with a smile.

Josh was first and foremost a father to his children, a son, brother and uncle to his family.

He was also a firefighter with a determination to help others when no-one else could. That was his nature.

At 11:30 crews stood silently as mark of respect to Josh and his family.

Yesterday we had the privilege of meeting trustees, management and amazing staff members at Ty Bryngwyn Llanelli Hospice where we donate half of the money that was raised during our annual car wash this year.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported and contributed to the Llanelli Fire Station charity car wash at Asda Llanelli on Saturday 🚒🧽
It was a fantastic turnout, and we are incredibly grateful to all the volunteers who gave their time and energy, as well as everyone who came along to show their support. Your generosity and effort made the day a great success.
We are pleased to say that ÂŁ816 was raised and will be split between Ty Bryngwyn Llanelli and The Fire Fighters Charity, supporting two very important causes.
Thank you again to everyone involved – we couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌
