The public toilets are CLOSED until further notice due to blockages caused by anti-social behaviour.

Stuffing Muller Corner pots down past the u-bend of the disabled toilet and emptying a 2L bottle of Coca-Cola over the facilities is not harmless — it is vandalism, and it affects everyone who relies on them.

This kind of behaviour at the public toilets is completely unacceptable.

We are aware of the individuals involved, and their details, along with CCTV footage, have been passed to the police.

For compliance with GDPR, faces have been blurred in any shared images.

Unfortunately, despite multiple attempts to resolve the issues ourselves, the facilities are now closed until the blockages further down the sewer have been resolved professionally after the bank holiday. We can only apologise for the inconvenience this is going to cause.

The matter is now formally recorded. Any further incidents will be dealt with accordingly.

Respect the facilities. Respect the community.

Wetland Vandalism – Information Requested

We are saddened and disappointed that this may have been carried out by those within our community.

A mature alder tree, estimated at around 30ft tall, has recently been felled at the far right-hand side of the Wetland, beyond the willow arch, and left in the river.

This is being treated as vandalism and will be reported to the police.

If anyone has any information about this incident, please contact:

📧 [email protected]

All information will be treated in confidence.
