For all those seasonal jobs, the Library of Things probably has the tool for the job. It’s cheap and easy to borrow, and means that you don’t need to store or maintain all those bulky items yourself. What’s not to love?!

If you've got guests staying over the Christmas period, we've got a whole host of useful bits and pieces that might just make your life that bit easier, including board games, carpet cleaners, bathroom and mobility aids, dehumidifiers, extension cables, air beds and a host of kitchen equipment.

It's free to sign up https://benthyg.llanfyllin.cymru/ and usually only costs a few pounds to borrow items.

Our last day for borrowing is Friday 19th Dec (5-7pm in the Llanfyllin Library building) so you'll also get two extra weeks of borrowing for free. Happy Christmas from all the volunteers here at Benthyg Llanfyllin 🎁

🍓🥦🍎 Fruit and veg growing faster than you can eat it? We've got equipment to borrow that will help you process and preserve the glut, from jam pans, to dehydrators and even an icecream maker! Open every Friday 5-7pm at the Llanfyllin library building and run by volunteers.

🐰🐣🐰 We are open as usual this Good Friday 5-7pm in the Llanfyllin Library Building and have lots of useful things for you to borrow over the bank holiday weekend: from a pressure washer to a cupcake stand, mobility aids for guests to a cooking stone to make the meal a bit different. For all those bits and pieces that you only need once in a while, better to borrow than to buy.
