Our leaflet was well received - helping to make the boycott bite on United Nations’ International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

The red areas are illegal Israeli settlements. The gray areas are controlled by the Israeli military. Apartheid roads, walls, and checkpoints separate the yellow Palestinian areas to prevent the formation of a contiguous Palestinian state, forming an illegal occupation similar to the bantustans of apartheid South Africa, only worse.

We marked the ceasefire in Gaza today with a silent vigil in Newtown to remember over 67000 Palestinians killed by Israel. We held photographs of a few of the Palestinian that have been killed. They are not just numbers.

At the PSC National demonstration in Liverpool on Saturday. Telling the Labour Government that recognising the State of Palestine is meaningless unless action is taken to stop arming Israel and take real steps to end the UK complicity in the Israeli genocide.

On Saturday we held a vigil by the Banking Hub on Welshpool High Street.

We clanged pots and pans as several of us took it in turns to read out testimonies from people who had seen first-hand the result of Israel’s actions in Gaza. These included testimonies from a volunteer surgeon, a former US military official, and a list of questions asked by Palestinian children being treated for wounds sustained in the ongoing bombing, such as “will my legs grow back?”

We also read out the names of just a small number of the 1000+ babies under one year old who have been killed by Israeli military action.

We were at RAF High Wycombe on Saturday as part of the PSC demonstration about the RAF flying reconnaissance flights over Gaza. The RAF flies from Cyprus but the control centre is in High Wycombe.

Last weekend we continued our support for the 'Don't Buy Apartheid' campaign. The reaction from the public was the best we have experienced. Lots of support from passing motorists and our bilingual Cymraeg/English leaflets were well received by shoppers.
