Our author programme of talks begins this month with a local fiction author. 'A Parisian Intrigue' is a historical fiction novel set during WWII. A pacy tale of espionage and subterfuge where ordinary becomes extraordinary for 'plain-Jane' Miriam Nugent when she answers the call to 'set Europe ablaze'. Come along to Lochcarron Library and be inspired by real life stories...with a dab of fiction.

Friday 4th September at 3:15pm at Lochcarron Library is the first after school LEGO Club of the new school year. Remember, our Club is open to ALL primary aged children but P1-3s must be accompanied by an adult. So, get those creative juices flowing and create something from our prehistoric past. That's because we are visiting the world of DINOSAURS for our first session! So whether it's a Creataceous creature or one from the Jurassic, just make sure you create it out of Lego. Remember also that this session is a great opportunity to borrow new books and return your old ones! Be sure not to miss out...So see you all on Friday!

Afterschool LEGO CLUB is on Friday 1st May at 3:15pm at LOCHCARRON LIBRARY. Open to all primary aged pupils, this creative gathering celebrates all things LEGO. This month our theme will be SPACE, so if it’s space shuttles, Artemis II, the moon, rockets, spaceships or even aliens, the only requirement is that you build it OUT OF LEGO. I’m already looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Please remember, that as this is a trip to a static library, it's also a fantastic chance to browse, borrow and return library books.
