Our small Residential Child Care homes create caring and supportive family-style environments for young people who have had challenging life experiences. By placing the needs and interests of our young people at the heart of everything we do, our therapeutic homes support our young people to heal and grow.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as an HR Officer!

By taking a lead on the recruitment process, from advertising to employment contracts, this role is key to ensuring we have the best people with the right skills and qualities across the organisation to care for our young people. But it doesn’t stop there. You need a thorough understanding of employment law to provide trusted advice to our teams on everything from absence management to training and development. Our people are our greatest resource and together with the HR Manager and the Training Administrator, you will support the organisation to implement effective policies to attract, retain, motivate and develop talented and passionate individuals to support our young people on their journey to creating a better future for themselves.

Common Thread's 2025 Easter Bakeoff🧁🐰

This afternoon, Benreay hosted the annual Easter Bakeoff for our houses. We had our usual 3 competition categories - any Easter themed bake, any traybake or any cake. We had so many delicious treats to try😋Swipe through to see the amazing creations!

Our winners were the easter nest cake, the mini egg tray bake and the rabbit hill cake.🏆

All entries looked great and tasted delicious. Well done to everyone who took part!
