Our aim at Sutton Music Trust is to help every young person in the London Borough of Sutton to make, be inspired by and to celebrate the music they love. We are committed to making a difference to the lives of young people through music. We are a charity subsidiary of Cognus Limited, which delivers a wide range of services to pursue excellence in education settings and improve the lives of childre

n, young people, and families. We offer a range of musical activities – visit www.suttonmusictrust.org.uk to see what’s on offer. We also support schools across the borough through our Whole Class Ensemble Teaching (WCET) curriculums, by leading in-school musical groups (e.g. bands and choirs), delivering in-school vocal and instrumental lessons, and providing curriculum support. Join us for our annual Key Stage 2 Festival! 🎶🎻

This celebratory concert features Key Stage 2 pupils from across the London Borough of Sutton who have taken part in Whole Class Ensemble Teaching with Sutton Music Trust throughout the year.

Students will showcase the musical skills they have been developing in lessons, performing on a wide range of instruments, including:

Ukulele
Violin and cello
Recorder
Trumpet and trombone

The concert will conclude with an uplifting massed choir finale, where all performers come together to sing Change Maker by Emily Barden 🎶

A joyful celebration of young musicians and their achievements – not to be missed!

Sutton Sings Festival returns in 2026 with a sky‑high celebration of music, community, and pure vocal joy. This year’s theme — Up, Up, and Away! — invites the singers of Sutton to lift their voices and spirits as we take audiences on a musical journey above the clouds.

We are excited that our fundraiser is fast approaching! Planned by the Sutton Music Trust Youth Forum, we will be taking on a 6km walk from one of our Music Academy sites to the other to raise money for future residential trips and SMT's 55th Anniversary year of celebrations!
