A mosque built by Pakistan's diaspora community in Japan's Kawagoe city is facing possible demolition after local authorities found that it had been constructed without the permissions required under Japanese law.

মানুষ কাল্পনিক বৃষ্টির ভয়ে ফুটো ছাতার মতো কুসংস্কারকে আঁকড়ে ধরে থাকে। তারা ভয়ে জড়োসড়ো হয়ে একে অপরের ভ্রান্ত ধারণাকে আরও দৃঢ় করে, অথচ বাস্তবতা তাদের সামনেই শুকনো ও উন্মুক্ত হয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে। যে কেউ সাহস করে বেরিয়ে এসে প্রমাণ খোঁজে, তাকেই হুমকি হিসেবে গণ্য করা হয়; এই কারণে নয় যে সে ভুল, বরং এই কারণে যে সত্য প্রকাশ করে দেয় ভয়টা আসলে কতটা অর্থহীন ছিল। কুসংস্কার টিকে থাকে এই কারণে নয় যে এটি কার্যকর, বরং এই কারণে যে একে প্রশ্ন করতে সাহসের প্রয়োজন হয়, আর অন্ধ বিশ্বাস সবার আগে সেই সাহসকেই হত্যা করে।

People cling to superstition like a leaking umbrella, terrified of imaginary rain. They huddle together in fear, reinforcing each other’s delusions, while reality stands dry and open right in front of them. Anyone who dares to step out and look for evidence is treated as a threat, not because they are wrong, but because truth exposes how pointless the fear always was. Superstition survives not because it works, but because questioning it requires courage, and courage is exactly what blind belief kills first.

যখন ধর্মীয় আখ্যানগুলো পর্যালোচনার সম্মুখীন হয়, তখন শব্দের মারপ্যাঁচ সত্যকে আড়াল করতে শুরু করে। ‘কাবা’ শব্দটিকে সুবিধাজনকভাবে ঘনকাকৃতির বা কেন্দ্র হিসেবে নতুনভাবে উপস্থাপন করা হয়, অথচ প্রকৃত আরবি ভাষাতত্ত্বে كعبة শব্দের অর্থ হলো কোনো উঁচু বা উত্তোলিত বস্তু। এই একই মূল থেকে كعبين শব্দটি এসেছে, যা কুরআনে গোড়ালির সন্ধি বা স্তনের মতো উত্তোলিত ও প্রসারিত আকৃতি বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে। এই অর্থগুলো আধুনিক নাস্তিকদের উদ্ভাবন নয়, এগুলো সরাসরি আরবি ব্যাকরণ থেকেই এসেছে।

একই প্রতারণা মসজিদের গম্বুজের ক্ষেত্রেও প্রযোজ্য। এগুলোকে ঐশ্বরিক মহিমার প্রতীক হিসেবে তুলে ধরা হয়, অথচ ঐতিহাসিকভাবে গম্বুজ মোটেই ইসলামের নিজস্ব কোনো উপাদান নয়; এগুলো পারস্য ও বাইজেন্টাইন স্থাপত্য থেকে ধার করা হয়েছিল। অনেক স্থাপত্য ইতিহাসবিদ খোলাখুলিভাবে স্বীকার করেন যে মদিনার গম্বুজের নকশার সাথে মানবদেহের কোমল, অর্ধগোলাকার ও উত্তোলিত আকৃতির এক আশ্চর্যজনক সাদৃশ্য রয়েছে। এটা সংস্কৃতি বা ঐতিহ্য নয়, এটা বাস্তব।

When religious narratives come under scrutiny, wordplay begins to hide the truth. The term Kaaba is conveniently repackaged as cubical or the center, while in actual Arabic linguistics كعبة means something elevated or raised, the same root used in كعبين, which the Qur’an uses to mean ankle joints or raised, protruding forms like breasts. These meanings aren’t inventions of modern atheists, they’re straight from Arabic grammar itself.

The same deception applies to mosque domes. They’re sold as symbols of divine glory, yet historically domes are not an original Islamic element at all, they were borrowed from Persian and Byzantine architecture. Many architectural historians openly acknowledge that the Medina dome’s design bears a striking resemblance to the soft, hemispherical, raised forms of the human body. This isn’t culture or tradition, it’s fact.
