APC Congress: Ika South Consolidates Grassroots Strength, Elects New Chairman Ahead of 2027
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ika South Local Government Area has successfully conducted its Local Government Congress, marking a significant step in consolidating party unity, strengthening grassroots structures, and positioning the party strategically ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
The congress recorded full participation and representation of all APC wards from Ward 1 to Ward 12, reflecting internal cohesion, transparency, and the party’s deep-rooted presence across communities in Ika South LGA. Party members, delegates, and stakeholders turned out in large numbers, reaffirming their collective commitment to the growth and success of the APC.
The event was graced by top-ranking party leaders and stakeholders, including the Executive Chairman of Ika South Local Government Council, Jerry Ehiwarior; The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Barr. Felix Morka, CON; Hon. Engr. Doris Uboh, Director, Rural Electrification Project; Dr. Donald Peterson; Hon. Sunny Tatabuzuogwu; as well as other prominent party leaders and stakeholders.
At the conclusion of the congress, Comr. Frank Izekor emerged as the newly elected Chairman of the APC in Ika South Local Government Area, following a widely accepted and transparent process that reflected the collective will of party members at the grassroots.
