Would you know a fake Squishy if you saw one?

They might look like harmless fun, but some fake Squishies can contain unsafe chemicals and with online trends encouraging people to microwave them, there’s another serious risk to be aware of.

Councillor Rags Sandhu, Cabinet Member for Environment, Culture and Leisure, explains what to look out for, including the UKCA mark, before you buy.

Our Trading Standards team has seized more than 450 unsafe Squishies in Bexley, helping to take potentially dangerous products off the shelves.
