Last Sunday, we celebrated the International Day of the Girl, focusing on their ability to lead, even and especially in their young age. 🥳

🙌 Let's continue the celebration! Let's keep on honoring and developing young girls into leaders who can take up space and speak up in spaces and places they belong in. Check out the "Grow" resource! Written by Captain Laura Van Schaick and developed by Canada & Bermuda Territory, this resource aim to help young girls grow in Jesus, strengthen their identities as children of God and become community changemakers.

🙏Those were the words of our founder, General William Booth. And his fight is still our fight today, especially today as we pray for the victims of modern slavery and human trafficking.

🙌 We thank everyone who has joined this campaign, and we pray that our prayers do not cease today, but will continue on as our brothers and sisters remain in the darkness of exclusion, oppression, and violence.

🙏 We believe in a God that is fair, righteous and just. And He will bring deliverance to the oppressed, marginalised, and the ones who are hurting.

🙌 This Sunday, join us in prayer as we lift up those who are in need of freedom and deliverance. May God continually use The Salvation Army as His instrument of deliverance, love, and peace.
