Hon. Alderman Mushtaq Lasharie CBE, Chairman of TWS, BPMA and LWRA, hosted a splendid launch event for Robert Winder’s acclaimed book Three Rivers — a fascinating account of the great rivers of Europe and the pivotal role they played in shaping the continent’s civilisation, trade, culture, and historical development.
The distinguished gathering brought together members of the diplomatic, literary, business, media, and community sectors. The memorable evening, held at West London’s prestigious Royal Nawaab Perivale Restaurant, was marked by thoughtful discussion, cultural appreciation, and celebration of literature, history, and community engagement.
