“I like living here, I feel safe” – young person looked after by an Outset foster carer.
We’re celebrating a hugely successful Ofsted report. The inspection, which took place in July, focused on:
-The overall effectiveness
-The quality of service
-The safeguarding of children and young people
-The leadership and management and the experiences
-Progress and outcomes for children and young people
and each category was rated good by the inspector.
The report states that “Children settle quickly into well-matched and well-planned placements.” and “All children have made progress from their individual starting points”. One foster carer said of their supervising social worker “He is there when I need him, morning, noon or night. I could not ask for more”.
