In 2017, despite the short timeframe of the snap election, we were delighted to enable Year 9 students in Croydon North and St Helen's North to broadcast highly professional YouTube debates between the actual candidates in their constituencies. As the hosts from St Joseph's mention in this video https://youtu.be/HNAvY_X0PM4, we had representation from all of the parties (which wasn't the case in some of the national TV debates last time).
Unfortunately, our project lead is teaching in Poland this year, and so we can't run any SeeHearVote projects this time. However, we'd be delighted to advise any schools or community groups on how you might go about running your own; as well as being an amazing experience for the young people involved, it makes a tremendous contribution to the democratic process by enabling all constituents to see the actual politicians who want to represent your area debating each other.
