Don’t be the reason your neighbourhood looks untidy. Unfortunately, the culprit behind this mess wasn’t being very community minded by leaving their rubbish sprawled across the floor at a location in Ilford. After tracing the waste back to a business, our Enforcement Team issued an instant £1000 fly-tipping fine. The area has also been jet washed and cleared. Spotted a street scene issue? More info in the comments on how to easily report it to us.👇

Redbridge is a great place that people are proud of. Help keep it that way by getting rid of your rubbish responsibly, unlike the person behind this mess. It didn’t take long for our Neighbourhood Enforcement Officers to find the culprit who dumped these bags of waste by a street bin in Ilford. It was an instant £1000 fly-tipping fine for them. Don’t be the reason your neighbourhood looks messy. Dumping rubbish on the street by a bin is still fly-tipping. Need to report a fly-tip? Find out how in the comments.👇

Standing Together Against Hate

During National Hate Crime Awareness Week, Redbridge Council joined residents and partner organisations to raise awareness of hate crime, promote the support available to victims and encourage people to report incidents.

We were pleased to welcome Cllr Sunny Brar, Cabinet Member for Enforcement, Community Safety and Cohesion, who attended the event and spoke with residents about the importance of challenging hate in all its forms and building safer, more inclusive communities.

Redbridge is proud to be one of London's most diverse boroughs, and everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and valued. Hate crime can take many forms, including verbal abuse, harassment, online abuse, criminal damage and violence.

Reporting hate crime is vital. Every report helps agencies support victims, understand what is happening in our communities and take action against offenders.

If you experience or witness hate crime, please report it. Together, we can help ensure there is no place for hate in Redbridge.
