This year’s Migrant Workers’ Day celebration in London was a meaningful tribute to the resilience, dedication, and achievements of our Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) under the theme “Bayan, Bayani, Bayanihan.”
A highlight of the event was the Graduation Ceremony of the OWWA London Skills Acquisition and Enhancement Training Program, where our OFWs proudly received their Certificates of Completion after successfully completing various skills training courses. These trainings represent more than just acquired skills—they are investments in future opportunities, sustainable livelihoods, and successful reintegration back home in the Philippines.
The celebration also served as a reminder that every OFW is a modern-day hero whose sacrifices, perseverance, and hard work continue to uplift families, strengthen communities, and contribute to nation-building.
Adding warmth and fellowship to the occasion was the Migrants Brew Corner, where participants connected over coffee, shared stories, and strengthened bonds within the Filipino community. The celebration continued with fun games and exciting activities that filled the day with laughter, camaraderie, and the true spirit of Bayanihan.
Together, we continue to uphold the values of Kalinga, Kaalaman, at Kabuhayan—caring for our migrant workers, equipping them with knowledge and skills, and empowering them toward a brighter and more secure future.
Congratulations to all our graduates!
Happy Migrant Workers’ Day to all our OFWs.
