🚭 Wembley shop fined over £9,000 for to***co offences.

A business on Ealing Road has been ordered to pay more than £9,000 after the council uncovered illicit to***co products worth almost £17,500.

The seizure at Namkeen Pan House included nearly 1,500 packs of oral to***co, which is illegal to sell in the UK, alongside products that failed to meet legal packaging and health warning requirements.

Illegal to***co puts people's health at risk, harms legitimate businesses, and undermines efforts to reduce smoking-related harm in our communities.

If you sell illegal to***co products in Brent, you can expect enforcement action.

📚✨ What an incredible day at the reopening of Kilburn Library on Salusbury Road!

It was amazing to see so many residents come together to celebrate this beautiful new space. The atmosphere was buzzing, the activities were a huge hit, and everyone had a fantastic time getting involved. 💛

After a £1 million transformation, the new-look library is now a modern, welcoming community hub, featuring:

🎨 Flexible spaces for exhibitions, workshops & performances
💻 A dedicated digital zone and extra study spaces
👶 A vibrant children’s area with sensory features
🏛️ Studio42 – a refurbished community space for events, meetings & courses

🎉 Kilburn Library is reopening on Monday 2 February!

After an exciting £1m refurbishment funded by the council’s Strategic Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Arts Council England, the library returns as a vibrant, inclusive space for reading, learning and creativity.
