Chingford & District Model Engineering Club A model engineering club based in the Ridgeway Park, Chingford, promoting model engineering to people. A great day out for the family, fun for all ages.

also running trains for the public April to end of September on Sundays 1.30 to 5 00pm. The Chingford and District Model Engineering Club is over 60 years old. Our members come from all walks of life and do not necessarily have an engineering background. Membership is open to either s*x (several of our female members are qualified train drivers) and starts at 10 for Apprentices, 14 for Juniors and

18 years for full membership. The club seeks to promote all forms of model engineering and model making,
as shown on our club badge (Boats, Planes, Trains & Static Models). Situated in the middle of a park just makes things easy there is a car paerk for the park accessible via the main gates (peel close enterance).

🚂✨ A special return to the rails

This weekend saw the first outing of the season for a
3½ inch LNER Bantam C**k 🔥

Fresh from passing its annual steam test, it was great to see it back in steam and running again at Ridgeway Park.

There’s nothing quite like seeing these miniature locomotives come to life — built, maintained, and run by our dedicated members.

We had an incredible turnout and it was great to see so many people enjoying the railway.
