QuizMates is a unique social experience showcasing in London, combining the elements of trivia, mates (or mate-making), comic entertainment and real prizes for a night to remember. QuizMates was set up in early 2011 by Matthew Spencer after he had become the “Quiz Master” of a fairly small Pub Quiz in Clapham, London. By just answering the quiz’s questions it is easy to tell someone’s interests, l

ikes and dislikes. Instantly the idea of Quiz Dating was born – by putting people together in medium size teams based on similar interests you can just sit back and watch the sparks fly. Quiz dating unlike speed dating allows you to meet a group of new people and really have a chance to get to know them and gets rid of the awkward “I don’t know what to talk about”. But QuizMates is not just about matching people up, no, its also a great way to have fun with your mates, maybe as a warm-up to a big night out, to celebrate a friends birthday or just to try and win that big cash prize. So whether your looking to meet some one new or catch up with old friends or maybe just show off your superior knowledge a QuizMates night is for you!!

Apparently there is a new sport taking the states by storm - it's called Kronum. Which is apparently a miss between football, basketball, gaelic and aussie football and... wait for it... Quidditch (unfortunately I could'nt see any brooms when I watched?!?!)
