At Mission Housing, we are passionate about supporting key Christian workers as they serve communities across the UK. By providing affordable housing solutions, we help create the stability needed for individuals and ministries to flourish.

We’re currently looking for someone to join the Mission Housing team. If you’re interested in using your skills to contribute to work that makes a meaningful difference, we invite you to explore our current vacancy on our website.

At the end of last month, we bid a fond farewell to Crystal, who has been a valued member of the Mission Housing team for the past eight years. 💐

Throughout her time with us, Crystal has journeyed alongside many of our associates, working faithfully to support and encourage them as they reached important milestones. The care, dedication and encouragement she brought to every campaign she supported has left a lasting impact, both on our team and on the many associates she has helped along the way.

Over eight years, Crystal has made a significant contribution to the growth and life of Mission Housing. We are incredibly grateful for all that she has brought to the organisation, as well as the relationships she has built along the way.

While we will certainly miss having Crystal as part of the team, we are excited for her as she begins this new chapter and embarks on her new role. We pray that she continues to be the light that she is wherever God leads her.

Thank you for everything, Crystal. We wish you every blessing and success for what lies ahead! 💙🚢

Last month we spent a fantastic evening at our AGM! ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us, both in person and online. Our AGM is a special opportunity to celebrate all that God is doing through the Mission Housing community.

Elizabeth shared what motivates her to be a lender and support the different missional activities made possible through Mission Housing, while Katie and Scarlett gave a moving insight into how Mission Housing has provided a place of refuge, hope and healing for young people.

Joseph then encouraged and inspired us with his vision for this nation, particularly for its young people, reminding us of the many ways God is at work fulfilling His plans and purposes through our lives.

The evening was enriched by everyone who shared, prayed and contributed, and it was a joy to begin together in worship, led by Vanessa. It all finished with pizza, fellowship and plenty of meaningful conversations.

One of the highlights of the evening was seeing so many of our lenders with us. Your generosity, encouragement and faithful partnership make so much of what Mission Housing does possible, and it was a privilege to celebrate alongside you.

Welcome to the second half of the year!

Tomorrow marks the first of our final three Prayer Gatherings of 2026, and we'd love for you to be part of it. 🙏

There's something so special about setting time aside to be still before the Lord, open His Word, and pray together as a community. It's always such an encouraging time as we hear updates from across Mission Housing and lift one another up in prayer.

If you have anything you'd like us to pray for, or something you'd like to thank God for, we'd be honoured to stand with you. 🤍

🏡✨ Congratulations to our newest shared owners, Jake and Lizzy! 💙

Last Tuesday, Jake and Lizzy officially exchanged on the purchase of their home — a wonderful milestone on their shared ownership journey! 🎉

We're delighted to see them take this exciting step towards homeownership and are so pleased to have been part of their journey. We wish them every happiness as they continue making memories in the home they already know and love.

✨ A little team update from Mission Housing!

Katie will shortly be stepping away on maternity leave, and we want to take a moment to say how grateful we are for everything she has brought to the team. Katie has been such a valued part of Mission Housing, and we are incredibly thankful for the care, commitment and encouragement she has given to the work we do.

Today we enjoyed going out for lunch together as a team to celebrate Katie and this exciting new chapter ahead. As she prepares to welcome her little one, we wish Katie and her family every blessing. She will be greatly missed while she’s away, and we will certainly be keeping her in our prayers. 🤍

We are also delighted to introduce Carolina, who will be stepping into this role while Katie is away. Carolina will be helping to continue sharing updates about the work of Mission Housing and the progress we are seeing with our applicants and shared owners.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and prayers as we seek to support Christian workers and their families through housing!

We are so excited to share some recent progress of our applicants and shared owners.

We were successful in purchasing a property for Caleb and Adanesh at the end of 2025, and we are currently in the process of obtaining quotes for a bathroom refurb before they move in. We are optimistic that they can officially move in within the upcoming months!
Jonathan and Jessica’s property purchase went through 2 days before Christmas! It was a real blessing that it all came to fruition as planned, and they have been thoroughly enjoying the moving in process!
Leanne and Tom are our first property completion of 2026! This one has taken a while to go through, for various reasons, and we are so thrilled for them that it has been a success!

We would love some prayer on a particular purchase that is happening. There have been a lot of ups and downs recently, and we are really trying to get this one over the line. Mission Housing is buying a smaller flat for one of our current associates, freeing up their house for Cheryl, Neil and their family.

Marshall and Amy have started looking for properties to purchase, which is so very exciting.
Jake and Lizzy are planning to buy the house that they are currently renting, and are nearly there!

We have some newer campaigns that started last year, and if you can help, or know someone who can, please send them our way in support of Joseph & Ruth, Jonny & Beth and Will & Lucy.

There are a few new faces that are yet to be revealed, but please do also pray for Rosie & Matt and Armel & Oana, who are 2 of our newest accepted applicants!

Our goal for 2026 is to purchase 4–6 properties through shared ownership, and thanks to your support, we are steadily on track to make it happen!
