Today is National Exploitation Awareness Day.

Over the last ten years CYP First have taken part in many activities to raise awareness of Exploitation. Here’s just a snap shot!

*Community Engagement
*Awareness raising stands at conferences
*Faith group discussions
*Educating young people
*Distributong campaign materials in the pouring snow!
*Looking like idiots wearing red in supermarkets (we didn’t care)
*Supported parents to tackle this.
*supported the helping hands campaign.

Drugs are at an all time low cost and with 1-3 children seeing drugs for sale online, we wonder why more children are experimenting or having problematic drug issues.

Do you know the difference between your Synthetic Stimulants, your Cathinones, your opioids your Fentanyl or your benzos, opioids and hallucinogenic.
These are the biggest risk to the children in your care currently.

Our course looks in depth at all of these and drugs that are at our children’s fingertips and what to do in signs of overdose.

Well today we had the amazing pleasure of spending the day with idem living and their management team looking at how we handle Inspection frameworks, criteria and how we can be “Ofsted” ready.
The feedback has been incredible “passionate”, “I came away confident and this will definitely support our home when next inspected” “Kim was incredibly confident and knowledgeable and her passion shone through the whole session” “the trainer was exceptional” “very interactive and i know so much more now!”
So so proud of this session and our wonderful trainer!!
