Jubilee Gardens is a landscaped park on London's South Bank, next to the majestic London Eye

Jubilee Gardens underwent a transformation in 2012 to turn it into a soft, green and sustainable park with new flower beds, granite pathways and seating edges, 97 trees and a brand new contemporary playground. The outdoor space is located within easy walking distance from several London Underground stations: Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross, Blackfriars and Westminster. The children's adventure

playground is open daily from 12 noon to 8pm in summer, or dusk if earlier, the Gardens themselves are open 24 hours a day.

This is one of the unmown, ‘wild’ areas of the Gardens. James, our gardener, has been reseeding the space to encourage bees and other pollinators. ⁠

Today is Earth Day, so it feels like the perfect time to highlight projects like this. Spaces like this help provide food and shelter for pollinators and add more colour and biodiversity to the park for everyone to enjoy.⁠

Haven’t the Narcissus been looking fabulous over the past few weeks?

These have been flowering through March and have given a beautiful pop of colour in Jubilee Gardens, a sign that Spring is here. Even now, you might still spot them looking beautiful in the beds.

Looking for somewhere to burn off some Easter Holiday energy?

Our playground is a brilliant spot to run around, climb, play and enjoy some fresh air over the Easter weekend.

With the days getting longer and the weather hopefully brightening up, it’s the perfect excuse to get outside.

The playground opens at 8.30am every day, so if you’ve got early risers at home, come and start the day here!

In April it’s open until 7pm, although closing times do change throughout the year depending on the seasons and dusk, so it’s always best to check the website before you visit.

Whether it’s a quick visit to burn off some holiday energy or a longer family walk with a play stop along the way, we’d love to see you here over the Easter holidays.

As the weekend approaches, Jubilee Gardens comes alive with renewed energy and activity.

Our popular children’s playground is open daily from 8.30am, offering a welcoming space for families to enjoy recreation and play.

Maintained by the Jubilee Gardens Trust, the Gardens provide a clean, safe and well-cared-for environment for visitors in the heart of the South Bank.
