CDS have published a draft EDI Strategy. This approach is intended to embed fairness, accessibility and inclusion into the way we interact with residents, support colleagues, recruit and develop people, work with partners and make decisions.

We have published our 2024-2025 Annual Report on our website for our residents and stakeholders to see.

It has lots of information about our performance, initiatives, what we are proud of and what still needs to be improved.

Use the person icon on the bottom left of our website for accessibility tools, including translation into dozens of languages, large print and to have it read for you.

You’ll find lots of information about the improvements we have made in response to what you have told us. This includes a new website that’s easier to use and online reporting of repairs. More about both on page 11.

Draft Service Charge Policy consultation

What is this policy?

The policy defines how we set, charge, and recover service charges for communal services in a block or estate, ensuring transparency and fair treatment of residents.

We last updated the policy in 2022, and it’s due for another review this year. We have added some new sections and made minor tweaks, but nothing major. The changes we’ve made include clarifying under what circumstances a resident can request that we consider providing a new service and when we would consider a request to discontinue an existing service.

Our main phone number is now working as normal again. The issue was a problem with Microsoft that prevented us from switching our phones and our message from the bank holiday out-of-hours arrangements to our usual setup. We are back to business as usual now and appreciate your understanding during the inconvenience yesterday's phone issue may have caused.

Our main phone line is currently down. When you call, you'll get a message saying the office is closed. This is not the case.

You can still call our main number (020 4551 0080) for emergency repairs, which will go through to our out of hours service and be handled by them. You can also call any staff member directly. To find the phone numbers of all our staff, go to https://www.cds.coop/our-people/. Alternatively, you can use our website to send an email to our general inbox.

We apologise for the inconvenience and are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
