🎤 We’re delighted to announce that Shelley Paterson will be joining the post-talk discussion at the Annual Pitt Lecture 2026, alongside Cllr Sabrina Francis, Cabinet Member for Jobs, Young People and Culture, following the keynote address from Marcus Ryder MBE.
Born and raised in Camden, Shelley is a writer, cultural commentator and founder of blackpeoplesbusiness, a cultural blog & platform exploring Black life through commentary, conversation and storytelling. Her work examines Black identity, society and lived experience through personal reflection and cultural analysis. Drawing from her experiences as a Black woman in the UK, she explores the complexities of contemporary Black British life.
