We're delighted to see that The Power of Events has reached an incredible milestone, engaging more than 143,000 students through its Schools Engagement Programme over the last academic year.

At the Business Design Centre, we're proud to support the London Schools Engagement Programme, with members of our team visiting schools to showcase the diverse career opportunities available within the events industry and inspire the next generation of event professionals.

It's encouraging to see our industry come together to create opportunities, break down barriers and help young people discover the many pathways into a rewarding career in events.

Before becoming the Business Design Centre in 1986, our iconic venue was the Royal Agricultural Hall, one of Victorian London's largest and most celebrated exhibition spaces.

The posters from our archives tell the story of a venue that has always brought people together – whether to marvel at exotic animals, celebrate prize-winning livestock, witness incredible feats of endurance or explore innovations from around the world.

Nearly 40 years after the BDC opened its doors, that spirit of connection and discovery remains at the heart of everything we do.
