| Rewind to the 90s and early 2000s ⏪

Our journey through four decades of BDC history continues.

As London and the events industry evolved, so did the Business Design Centre. The 1990s and early 2000s saw our venue cement its reputation as one of the capital's leading destinations for conferences, high-profile live events and exhibition launches.

Need an example? In 1999, we played host to the BAFTA Television Awards – one of the most prestigious and glamorous events in our history.

This International Chefs Day, we’re celebrating the talented kitchen team behind every menu, dish and pizza slice at the Business Design Centre

Often working simultaneously on busy exhibition catering schedules, bespoke conference menus and everyday lunches, our chefs bring creativity, care and hard work to the kitchen every day.

More than an exhibition venue: discover our Conference Centre 💡

When people think of the Business Design Centre, they often picture our iconic glass-roofed exhibition hall.

But tucked away on our Gallery Level is our Conference Centre: a versatile collection of spaces designed for everything from seminars and training sessions to multi-stream events and larger conferences.

With just over one month to go until LiGHT Expo London returns to the Business Design Centre for its fifth year, it's time to shine a spotlight on what's in store for visitors this November.

Meet the organiser: 5 minutes with Italyfest London 🇮🇹

Following the success of Sicily Fest, the team behind one of London's most popular celebrations of Italian culture is expanding its vision.

This autumn, ItalyFEST arrives at the Business Design Centre to bring together the food, traditions and spirit of all 20 Italian regions for four days of entertainment and celebration.

In our latest insight piece, we caught up with the organisers to learn what inspired the next chapter of the festival, why the focus is shifting to regional diversity and what visitors can expect when the doors open this October.

| A brilliant day spent together at the London Memory Walk 👟💙

Last Sunday, team Business Design Centre came together to take part in the Alzheimer's Society London Memory Walk.

The team completed the 5km route along the River Thames in just over an hour, raising an incredible £790 to support vital research and services for those affected by dementia.

What made the day particularly special was the opportunity to spend time together away from our desks while supporting a cause that touches so many lives. It was a reminder of the values that underpin our organisation: community, collaboration and a shared commitment to making a positive difference.

Thank you to everyone who donated and cheered us on.
