🌿 Great morning with the Waste Action Squad in Church Street, chatting to residents about how to recycle and dispose of waste safely and responsibly ♻️

There was loads of interest and some brilliant ideas about how to improve our community by:

✨ Keeping our streets cleaner
🌸 Planting fruit trees and wildflowers

Thanks to everyone who stopped to talk and share their ideas💚

☘️ Labour Councillors were delighted to attend the opening of the new community garden at Lilestone Hub in Church Street - a great example of what a Labour-led Council delivers for local residents. 🌻 The vibrant space includes areas to grow plants and herbs, as well as welcoming seating and shaded spots to relax. 🫶 Conceived by the previous Labour administration, the garden was designed by local not-for-profit in partnership with local residents to reflect the needs and aspirations of the community.

1 day to go until 🗳️

Labour is the only party with a positive plan for Church Street 🌹
If re-elected, over the next 4 years we will:

• Keep our community safe with more officers and upgraded CCTV
• Build more than 800 truly affordable homes 🏡
• Invest in community spaces and services 🤝
• Tackle climate change and air pollution locally 🌱
• Support Church Street market and local businesses 🛍️
• Keep council tax low

Don’t risk it. Use all your votes for Labour in Church Street 🌹

5 days to go until polling day ⏳

On 7th May vote Labour for a fairer, greener, safer and healthier Church Street 🌹

Make sure you use all 3 votes for Labour 🗳️

A vote for any other party risks letting the Tories back in - leaving our community poorer and less protected.

In Westminster, Labour is investing in our communities 🌹

We’ve opened 6 new community hubs, backed local champions, funded youth clubs, and created more opportunities for older residents to stay active and connected.

While the increasingly right wing Tories and divisive Greens try to pull communities apart, we believe we’re stronger together.

With just one week to go until Polling Day, don’t be swayed by empty promises or the politics of division.

🗳️ On 7th May use all 3 votes for Labour - for a stronger, more resilient Westminster.
