🧵✨ Creative Sewing Workshops for 10–13 Year Olds ✨🧵

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are excited to offer Creative Sewing Workshops for children aged 10–13 years during the summer holidays.

These fun, hands-on sessions will give young people the opportunity to learn basic sewing skills, create their own unique projects, develop confidence, and make new friends in a supportive environment. No previous sewing experience is required.

🌎 💚 🌳 We are excited to invite you and your child to a special Clean Air Day Stay & Play on Thursday 18th June from 9:30am–11:30am at Wentworth Children’s Centre.

Join us in celebrating the UK’s Clean Air Day and the opening of the new Cassland Road crossing. This is a fantastic opportunity for families to learn about the importance of clean air, safer journeys to school and nursery, and how we can all help create a healthier environment for our children.

We are delighted to welcome Mete Coban, Deputy Mayor of London for Environment and Energy, who will be joining us for this special occasion.

We hope as many families as possible can attend this special Stay & Play session and celebrate with us.

Dear Parents and Carers,

We would like to invite you and your child to join us for a special Clean Air Day Stay & Play on Thursday 18th June from 9:30am–11:30am at Wentworth Children’s Centre.

What’s Upcoming Next Week (8-12 June) ☀️

💚 Stay & Play Drop-in Monday & Friday, 9:30am - 11:30am and Thursday, 1 - 3pm. A fun session for children 0 - 4 years to play, explore and socialise. Includes snack and circle time.

👶 Tiny Tots Drop-in, Tuesday & Thursday, 9:30am - 11:30am.
A gentle and welcoming sensory session for newborns to pre-walkers. A great chance to meet other local families.

👣 Tots Together Drop-in, Wednesday, 9:30am - 11:30am.
A welcoming session for children 12 - 24 months and their grown-ups to play, explore and connect with other local families.

🚒 Fire Station Visit – Friday 26th June 🚒

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are excited to let you know that we will be visiting the local Fire Station on Thursday 26th June.

⭐ Stay & Play will run as usual from 9:30am.
⭐ We will leave the Children’s Centre together at 10:45am and head to the Fire Station.
⭐ The visit will begin at 11:00am.

Please ensure you arrive at the Children’s Centre in time to join us before we leave. We will be travelling together as a group.

This will be a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about firefighters, fire safety, and see a real fire engine up close!
