Last week, we launched MTVH 2030 - our strategy and vision for the next few years.

Shaped by the views of more than 3,000 residents, this strategy sets out how we’ll:

✅ Listen better and embed resident voices
✅ Deliver consistent, high-quality services
✅ Provide homes you can be proud of
✅ Invest in communities for the future

You can read the full strategy on our website here: https://www.mtvh.co.uk/about-us/mtvh-2030-strategy/

12/05/2026

Today we’re pleased to launch our new year strategy - MTVH 2030. Created with our residents, this is how we’ll deliver better services, stronger communities, and lasting impact together. Thank you to the more than 3000 residents who provided their feedback to us.

Our ambition is simple: to make sure every resident has a safe, comfortable home, receives a service they can rely on, and has hope for the future.

Our strategy is built around three key priorities:

🔑 Your Home – safe and well-maintained homes

🌱 Your Future – investing in people and communities

💬 Your Service – listening and improving

MTVH 2030 is about more than homes. It’s about creating pride and building a future shaped by those we serve. Find our strategy here: https://www.mtvh.co.uk/about-us/mtvh-2030-strategy/

Following on from our previous video on our partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, our latest video sheds light on what is needed when it comes to improving access to cancer support services for people who are often underrepresented in traditional health outreach.

By listening first and co-creating solutions with local people, this work is reshaping how cancer awareness and support are delivered across Lambeth, one of London’s most diverse boroughs.

💬 Event attendees told us that, for the first time, they:
∙ “Feel empowered to talk about cancer without judgement”
∙ Are “self-checking for signs and symptoms” between screenings
∙ Feel more confident speaking to a GP and booking screenings

We’re so pleased to see how this project has successfully brought communities together by blending health discussions with arts and cultural events. This has enabled underrepresented groups to access health information, generated momentum for building alliances, and helped more people build the confidence they need to access cancer support services.🌟

Our two-year project, in collaboration with Macmillan Cancer Support, has taken us on a journey to reduce inequalities and improve access to cancer support services for residents in Lambeth.

During the partnership, we have:
🗣️ Held over 1,500 meaningful conversations with residents affected by or concerned about cancer
🏘️ Brought cancer conversations into trusted and accessible community spaces
🤝 Built strong local networks to help people access the right support at the right time

Hear from Scott Duncan, Macmillan Project Manager, as he shares how housing associations such as MTVH can act as anchor organisations and play a vital role in reaching people who might otherwise miss out on life-changing support. 💚

🌱 A fantastic transformation at Valley Mews.

Residents, MTVH colleagues and local partners have turned an overgrown, fly‑tipped patch of land into ten new community allotments complete with wildlife features, composting areas and a shared noticeboard.

The project, delivered through MTVH’s Social Value programme, has created a safer, greener and more welcoming space for everyone. SureServe and Cleanscapes played a huge part by helping reshape the land, install bat and bird boxes, and create storage and pathways.

We look forward to seeing this area flourish into a vibrant community space that residents can grow and shape together 💚

This month, we have distributed 50 Warmth and Energy-Saving Hampers to our residents at Chalkhill! 💚🧤

This is part of the Green Doctors programme to help vulnerable residents stay warm, healthy, and save energy during the colder months. These resources, brought to our residents with the support from our partners and will make a real difference to the residents.

A huge thank you to Groundwork and Cadent Foundation for working with us to create such a positive impact in our community!💞💪
