🎺 Music with a Purpose | Supporting the Army Benevolent Fund

Tomorrow evening, the Band of the Welsh Guards, under the direction of their Director of Music, Major Matt Simons, will be performing at the magnificent St Wulfram’s Church in Grantham for the Lincolnshire Big Band Concert, proudly supporting the Army Benevolent Fund.

The Army Benevolent Fund is the Army’s national charity, providing lifelong support to serving soldiers, veterans and their families when they need it most.

From helping injured soldiers and supporting veterans with independent living, to providing assistance with housing, employment, mental wellbeing and family welfare, the charity continues to make an enormous difference across the Army community.

Its commitment extends far beyond military service, ensuring that members of the Army family can access support throughout their lives — For Soldiers. For Life.

Events such as this demonstrate how Army Music can bring people together while supporting causes that mean so much to the wider military community. 🎶

From everyone across the Household Division, we wish Major Matt Simons and all the musicians of the Band of the Welsh Guards the very best for tomorrow evening. We hope you have a wonderful concert and a thoroughly enjoyable evening supporting such a worthwhile cause! 👏🎺
