I know how much everyone has been looking forward to coming to our New Year’s Bounce Event, and it is with real disappointment that I share this update. Due to a recent flood that may have affected the electrical wiring at the venue, we have had to cancel the event to ensure everyone’s safety.

I understand that changes like this can be particularly upsetting, especially when plans have been anticipated for some time. Please know that this decision was not taken lightly, and safety must come first.

We sincerely apologise for the disappointment this may cause. We will inform you as soon as a new date has been confirmed and the event has been rescheduled. In the meantime, we hope to see you at our Valentine’s event.

🌟 Huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our AGM! 🌟 It’s been an incredible year filled with achievements across our youth and adult social care projects.

A special shoutout to Jenni for sharing the amazing strides made with our work placement program at The Hive Cafe. Highlights of the night include hearing from Charline and Hannah about the ever-growing homework clubs, and Inspiring learning mentoring project. 🌱📚🤝

🛹Skate and elevate🛹
Weekly skateboarding sessions with at Norwood skate park have been a highlight of this year’s summer program. The young people have been getting to grips with skateboarding over the summer break and will be shredding the skate park in no time!

Our service users had a wonderful time at the seaside recently. There’s nothing like getting out the city to enjoy sun, sea and great company! ☀️⛱️

We are Rathbone, a Lambeth based non-profit that supports and uplifts young people and adults with learning disabilities. Some of you may be familiar with our service and the life changing work we do, but if not, it’s about time we introduce ourselves!

🌟We also have the privilege of running multiple youth projects that aim to equip young people, both with and without learning disabilities, with the skills and confidence they need to thrive 💙 We utilise the power of relationships with Youth Workers to provide young people with safe places to socialise, learn, grow and have their voices heard🗣️
