🔸We Need Your Help🔸
📣Since being elected, I have had the privilege of meeting many constituents through meetings, visits, and advice surgeries. My team has responded to thousands of emails, resolved a wide range of casework, and works alongside me every day in Parliament to ensure your voice is heard clearly in Westminster.
🙋♀️Alongside my full-time team, I am supported by a fantastic group of local Liberal Democrat councillors and volunteers who give their time and energy to building a stronger, more connected community.
🗳At the upcoming unitary elections in May, residents will have the chance to hold the current Conservative administration to account. The Conservatives have been the largest party in Surrey County Council since the mid-1960s.
👎Over that time, we have seen rising debt, roads fall into poor condition, a SEND system in turmoil, and democratic processes increasingly undermined.
⚠️As you may know, the Conservative-led Surrey County Council, alongside the Labour government, cancelled last year’s elections, granting this group of councillors an additional two years in power. I believe this represents a serious democratic deficit.
🧡The Liberal Democrats are not a party of division—we are committed to putting our communities first.
🛣In the lead-up to the May elections, I am looking for dedicated, hard-working volunteers who care about where they live - people who want safer roads, better public transport in Surrey Heath, and respect for our green spaces.
🚌Local government is the level of politics closest to people’s everyday lives. The decisions made by a unitary authority directly affect you and your family. Let’s make sure those decisions are made by the right people, on your behalf.
