There is a wealth of scientific research, showing that being in a forest/wooded area can have a host of health benefits e.g. it can: boost our mood, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve immune system function and sleep.
If you in/near London and would like to start your Sunday feeling relaxed, restored, then come join us for a dose of nature therapy among the trees of Ruskin Park in Denmark Hill or the ancient woodland of Beckenham Place Park . Enjoy slowing down mind and body as we walk 1.5-2km, stopping to do some mindfulness-based practices using our senses, chill out with a peaceful, guided relaxation under the tree canopy and end with tea and a snack.
The next sessions are on:
- Sunday 8 March 11.30 am-1.00 pm in Ruskin Park
- Sunday 15 March 11.30am-1.30pm in Beckenham Place Park
